Sets & ScenesWhat sets the tone or voice of a story? How does a reader know the time, place, social or political order, and even financial state of your character and their world? These are the types of questions most serious creators asks themselves when they think of writing a story. The environment is an important part of a writer's storytelling process. Sets and scenes can allude to the attitude of a story, and even the mental state of your characters. Sets and scenes can also elude to the genre the reader is about to experience.
